Scholarship
Every year, Sri Sai University, Palampur offers various scholarships to deserving students. The nature of scholarships can be either merit scholarships, need scholarships or merit-cum-need scholarships. The value of the scholarship ranges from 30%-50% of the tuition fee waiver, on a case-to-case basis for one year.
The primary aim of a scholarship is to provide financial assistance to students, enabling them to pursue higher education without the burden of excessive debt, while promoting educational equity and meritocracy.
Objectives of Scholarships:
- Financial Support:Â To help students cover tuition fees for those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
- Encourage Merit and Talent:Â Â To reward outstanding academic performance, leadership, or specific.
- Increase Access to Education:Â To ensure that talented and deserving students are not denied educational opportunities due to financial constraints.
Key Aspects of Scholarship Objectives:
- Empowerment:Â Beyond money, scholarships are viewed as tools for personal and intellectual growth, providing access to mentorship and professional networks.
- Efficiency:Â Modern, government-backed scholarship programs aim to use technology (e.g., National Scholarship Portal) for transparent, timely, and direct benefit transfers to recipients
